WC 2026 Predictor
The Rules
No random luck. No hidden formulas. Every point earned is explainable. Here's exactly how it works.
How to Play
Pick Every Match
Predict the outcome for group matches and the exact score for knockout matches — before each one kicks off. Every pick locks 1 hour before kick-off.
Earn Points
Points land on the board the moment a match finishes. The later the round, the more a correct pick is worth.
Climb the Table
Your total score updates in real time. Compete globally or invite friends to a private group.
Group Stage
72 matches across 12 groups. For each one, pick the outcome — Home Win, Draw, or Away Win. Picks lock 1 hour before kick-off.
Pick the correct outcome
Select Home Win, Draw, or Away Win before kick-off. Get it right and you earn 3 points. There are no partial points — it's correct or nothing.
per match
Max group stage score
72 matches × 3 pts = 216 pts if you call every group match correctly.
Knockout Stage
Now you predict the exact score for each match. Nail it and you earn 3× the base points. Every round is worth more — the Final is worth 5× the base.
Correct Winner
3 pts
× round multiplier
Right team advances. Score doesn't matter.
One Side Right
5 pts
× round multiplier
Correct winner + one goal count matches exactly (home or away).
Exact Score
10 pts
× round multiplier
Both goal counts correct. The rarest, richest pick.
Extra Time & Penalties
Two things are scored independently in every knockout match: the full-time scoreline (including any extra time played) and who advances. They can only come apart if the score is still level after 120 minutes and the match goes to a penalty shoot-out.
Rule 1 — Score
Measured at Full Time (inc. AET)
Your predicted scoreline is compared against the result at full time, including any extra time played. If a team scores in extra time to win 2–1, the final score is 2–1 — no penalties involved.
Rule 2 — Winner
Whoever Advances
The team that actually progresses — whether decided in 90 mins, extra time, or on penalties — is the “correct winner” for points purposes.
Predicting a level score?
If you predict a drawn scoreline (e.g. 1–1) for a knockout match, a second prompt appears asking which team you think wins on penalties. That pick is only used if the match is still level after 120 minutes — if the match is decided in extra time, your score pick stands as-is.
Quarter-final · Brazil vs Argentina · 1–1 after 120 mins · Brazil wins on penalties
All examples above use the ×2 Quarter-final multiplier. Getting the draw score right but the pen winner wrong earns 7 pts × mult — more than a correct winner alone (3 pts × mult).
Worked Example
You're predicting a Quarter-final (×2 multiplier), no penalties involved:
Brazil vs Argentina · Quarter-final
